On December First, Ministry of Economy Ordinance No. 10.031/2022 came into effect, which exempts privately held companies with annual gross revenues up to R$ 78 million from publishing and disclosing on their own website.

Mandatory publications will continue to be made in the “Central de Balanços” of the “Sistema Público de Escrituração Digital” (SPED), a public, free and online system, which guarantees greater agility and transparency for publications and relevant cost reduction for companies.

Information consultation by SPED can be done in a simple way, through parameters such as the CNPJ number or the business name, year and type of publication, in a unified and national database available to any citizen.
