Gabriel works on legal issues related to innovation and technology, including challenges from traditional organizations (private and public) in their digital transformation processes. In addition, he provides support in contracts in general and in compliance programs with personal data protection regulations.
Before joining Colares Advogados, Gabriel worked in civil and administrative litigation for public bodies, and in a law firm, in the Corporate and Contract areas.
He has a special interest in data protection, innovation, intellectual property and the intersection of law and technology. He was a Civil Law teaching assistant at the Federal University of Pernambuco’s Recife School of Law and is a member of the Startups Law Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association, Pernambuco Section (OAB/PE). He is currently on an year leave in the Netherlands for his LL.M. studies.
